2020 Mazda 2 - Best family hatchback or what?

It is the best in the range whilst slipping $24,890 off your wallet. The Mazda 2 is seriously fun to drive but its engines can feel lethargic. The Mazda 2's petrol engine is very smooth and although it is fast enough when you put your foot on the pedal it can start to sound a bit coarse. This little car carries a 1.5-litre engine but what you'll sorely miss is a turbocharger. The car is best below 40mph.

The Mazda 2's classy and appealing dashboard may be nice but is somewhat starting to show it's age. I recommend choosing the SE -L Nav model due to how much of a difference the 7.0-inch infotainment system makes. Stitched leather on the seats, the door panels and the dashboard give the car a posh feel but you'll only get it in the top-spec models. The base models might not have a 7.0-inch infotainment system, but they get LED headlights, Bluetooth hands-free calling, cruise control and rear parking sensors along with the standard features. All those features in the base model make the car the best of the range also when it comes to technology. LOL! This car is definitely in the lead!

The Mazda 2 also has a big enough boot and many storage places around the car including seat-back pockets, cup holders, bottle holders, multi-purpose compartments and multi-purpose containers.
