Quick read: How does Toyota make their cars so reliable?
I'm pretty sure you all know that Toyota's vehicles are exceptionally attested, there's no doubt in that. According to the reliability score given to every vehicle manufacturer by "What Car?", Toyota stands
at third place with pride, whilst holding a score of 97.7%. Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of Toyota, is in the first place. But have you ever wondered how Toyota does that?
Whenever Toyota or Lexus makes a new vehicle model, before starting an automated production line, they make the whole car by hand, permitting them to ensure the build of the car is solid. It is after that, that they give the automated production line with robots a test to ensure it is built correctly. Finally, they start the automated production line.
Now, making one by hand, testing the production line, and having to retry eats up on time, which when it comes to vehicle manufacturers is money. So to overcome this problem, Toyota has a trick up their sleeve, they reuse many parts such as body panels and engines from other models.
There it is, how Toyota makes their cars so reliable.
